Walk into any fencing club or tournament and the vibrant sound of steel meeting steel fills the air. Fencing is the sweet taste of victory and the personal growth accompanying both victory and defeat. Fencing is good health and good friends, an experience you can pursue for a lifetime. |
Fioretto Fencing Academy provides Group lessons for Adults. Following warm-up and stretching exersises students learn fencing elements of attack and defence,correct footwork, and blade manipulations. To the end of every class students have a chance to fence one against another to try the elements learned. Also psycological aspects of fencing tactics, and strategy are discussed during lessons. |
Fencing is one of the safest sports. Its safety record reflects the quality of equipment and the rules that control the manner of competition. For instance, the mask must meet international requirements for strengh of the wire and covering all vulnerable parts of the head. Uniforms are made of the same material used in buletproof vests, Kevlar. |
